Analisis Nilai Karakter Fagogoru pada Masyarakat Pesisir Bicoli dalam Bingkai Cultural Moral Knowing, Feeling, and Action

Fagogoru bukan sekadar warisan budaya simbolik, tetapi sistem nilai yang hidup dan bekerja sebagai sumber pembentukan karakter kolektif. Namun, dalam konteks masyarakat pesisir Bicoli yang menghadapi modernisasi, mobilitas penduduk, dan melemahnya praktik adat, keberlanjutan enkulturasi nilai ini mulai menghadapi tantangan. Meskipun penting, kajian akademik mengenai karakter berbasis budaya lokal Fagogoru melalui kerangka moral Lickona masih terbatas, khususnya dalam hubungannya dengan kerangka moral global seperti moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action, serta wacana moral ecology dan cultural moral formation. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana nilai Fagogoru berfungsi sebagai mekanisme enkulturasi karakter yang mengintegrasikan moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action. Menggunakan pendekatan etnografi interpretatif hermeneutika budaya melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Fagogoru bekerja sebagai ekologi moral yang mengintegrasikan pengetahuan normatif, afeksi komunal, dan tindakan sosial, yang direproduksi melalui narasi genealogis, sanksi sosial, serta praktik adat keagamaan. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa nilai lokal berfungsi sebagai living moral system yang adaptif, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi pada penguatan konsep moral ecology dan cultural moral formation melalui model pembinaan karakter berbasis komunitas yang menopang kohesi sosial dan ketahanan budaya.
