While much of contemporary political practice tends to exploit exclusive symbols based on ethnicity, religion, and social class, alternative approaches through inclusive rhetoric remain underexplored. This study aims to analyze how Ganjar Pranowo, through his political speech, constructs an inclusive narrative in response to the discourse of identity politics. The study employs Aristotelian rhetorical theory (logos, ethos, and pathos) as the primary framework to examine the persuasive strategies embedded in the speech. A qualitative approach with rhetorical discourse analysis is used. Data were drawn from transcripts of Ganjar Pranowo’s public speeches delivered during the national political campaign. The research instruments included a classification of rhetorical categories and thematic content analysis to interpret the strategic function of each rhetorical element. The findings reveal that Ganjar’s speech integrates rational argumentation, moral credibility, and emotional resonance in a balanced manner. He deploys narratives of social justice, equitable access, and recognition of marginalized groups as strategies to frame national identity inclusively. These results confirm that political rhetoric functions not only as a tool of electoral persuasion but also as a constitutive medium that reconstructs collective identity and challenges political exclusivism.
Lusi Komala Sari Panji Asrywan Bede Blaise Chukwunyere Onwuagboke Copyright (c) 2025 Lentera : Jurnal Kajian Bidang Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran 2025-07-31 2025-07-31 5 2 59 67 10.56393/lentera.v5i1.3481 Comparison of the Effectiveness of Google Form and Quizizz on Pancasila Education Learning Outcomes in Elementary School https://journal.actual-insight.com/index.php/lentera/article/view/3314
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Google Form and Quizizz as digital evaluation media in enhancing learning outcomes and student engagement in Pancasila Education. The background of this research lies in the limited variety of evaluation tools commonly used in schools, which often reduces student motivation and participation during assessments. The research employed Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles involving students of class X.G at State Senior High School 2 Malang. Each cycle comprised four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, student response questionnaires, and engagement observation sheets, and analyzed descriptively, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The findings indicate that Quizizz was more effective than Google Form in improving both learning outcomes and engagement. The average student score increased from 72.5 in the first cycle to 82.1 in the second cycle, while the number of students achieving mastery rose from 18 to 26. Furthermore, student engagement improved significantly, as reflected in positive responses toward Quizizz’s gamification features such as leaderboards, instant feedback, and interactive quiz formats. Despite these positive outcomes, the study is limited to one class and two research cycles; therefore, future studies with a broader scope are recommended to validate the consistency and generalizability of the findings.
Didik Iswahyudi Suciati Suciati Wa Ode Syahrina Rizky Amalia Lestari Andarwati Copyright (c) 2025 Lentera : Jurnal Kajian Bidang Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran 2025-08-22 2025-08-22 5 2 68 78 10.56393/lentera.v5i1.3314 Increasing the Learning Motivation of Class V Students through the Application of Crossword Puzzles https://journal.actual-insight.com/index.php/lentera/article/view/3315
This research aims to improve the learning motivation of grade V elementary school students through the application of crossword puzzle media in Pancasila Education learning. The method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning motivation questionnaires administered during the pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle. The research results showed a gradual and significant increase in students' learning motivation after the use of crossword puzzle media. The average learning motivation score improved from 1.87 (46.75%) in the pre-cycle to 2.25 (56.25%) in the first cycle, and further increased to 2.87 (71.75%) in the second cycle. Learning activities became more active, enjoyable, and collaborative, encouraging students to participate actively and work together in completing learning tasks. The provision of varied learning media, engaging activities, and constructive feedback also played an important role in enhancing students' motivation and involvement. The use of crossword puzzle media proved to be effective in fostering critical thinking, strengthening students’ active participation, and creating positive interactions among students throughout the learning process. Based on these findings, crossword puzzle media is recommended as an alternative innovative learning strategy that teachers can implement, particularly in Pancasila Education learning at the elementary school level, to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes.
Arnelia Dwi Yasa Annisa Cholilaya Kartika Fathol Muzakir Copyright (c) 2025 Lentera : Jurnal Kajian Bidang Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran 2025-12-17 2025-12-17 5 2 79 88 10.56393/lentera.v5i2.3315 Wordwall-Based Gamification to Improve Understanding of the Demand Function: A Madrasah Aliyah Case Study https://journal.actual-insight.com/index.php/lentera/article/view/3404
Understanding the concept of the demand function in economic mathematics is still a challenge for Madrasah Aliyah students due to the abstract and applicative nature of the material. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of gamification using the Wordwall platform in improving students’ understanding of the demand function concept at MAS At-Taqwa Beru. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design involving 30 eleventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The results showed an increase in active student participation from 55% to 80% during gamification learning and an increase in the average learning score from 62.3 to 78.5 (gain ±26%). Wordwall facilitated students’ understanding through interactive visualization and contextual questions, stimulated intrinsic motivation, and encouraged collaboration among students. These findings support social constructivism theory and Self-Determination Theory that interaction, autonomy, and instant feedback are important in building conceptual understanding. Theoretically, this research enriches the literature on gamification in economics learning at the Madrasah level, while practically recommending the integration of Wordwall as an effective alternative learning medium, supported by digital facilities and school policies so that its implementation can be carried out systematically and sustainably.
Siti Khadijah Abdul Kadir Vinsesnsius Herianto Ndori Firmina Dinenti Bajo Ayusari Ayusari Copyright (c) 2025 Lentera : Jurnal Kajian Bidang Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran 2025-12-17 2025-12-17 5 2 89 96 10.56393/lentera.v5i2.3404 Habituation-Based Pancasila Education: A Case Study of Grade 3 Students in Boarding School Al Fattah Bulungcangkring Jekulo https://journal.actual-insight.com/index.php/lentera/article/view/3782
Pancasila Education by habituation-based in madrasah elementary schools or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) remains underexplored, its integration with formal schools. This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of Pancasila Education for third-grade students at MI Al-Fattah Bulungcangkring; (2) identify instilling Pancasila values instilling Pancasila values through patterns of habituation model; and (3) explore an integrative habituation model. Method that used in this study is qualitative case study design was employed, with data from in-depth interviews with one homeroom teacher, one religious lesson teacher, one caregiever and one ustaz, classroom observations of 15 students with focusing on learning methods, interests, behavior and readiness, and document analysis. Data were thematically analyzed with Mile and Hubberman aprroach. The results show that Pancasila values were internalized through organic integration of classroom lessons with pesantren habits, including routine shalat berjamaah, communal dhuha prayer, queuing for meals and ablutions, and collaborative muslim tasks. The Integrated Conceptual Habituation Model emerged as a identified framework, showing cognitive-affective reinforcement from school synergizing with behavioral domains in pesantren routines. The model offers relevant reference contribution to character education in habituation-based. Future research should validate it via quasi-experimental designs and standardized tools like Child Behavior Checklist.
Muhammad Hudatil Atqiya Husni Mubarok Copyright (c) 2025 Lentera : Jurnal Kajian Bidang Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran 2025-12-26 2025-12-26 5 2 97 111 10.56393/lentera.v5i2.3782
