Abstract

Sebagai bagian dari South-East Asian Sales Competition (SEASAC), sejak tahun 2020 dilaksanakan ISAC, yang merupakan kompetisi di bidang penjualan di tingkat nasional. ISAC yang pertama dilaksanakan secara daring. Pada tahun berikutnya, terdapat perubahan tata cara pelaksanaan. Babak final ISAC 2021 dilaksanakan secara luring di universitas tuan rumah dengan mengundang para finalis yang lolos dari tahap sebelumnya pada babak penyisihan yang masih dilaksanakan secara daring. Meskipun sudah banyak artikel yang mengetengahkan efektivitas penerapan kompetisi sebagai metode pengajaran kemampuan di bidang penjualan, jarang yang menyoroti aspek kebahasaan yang ada di dalamnya, meskipun jelas bahwa bahasa mempunyai peran yang besar di sana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji interaksi yang terjadi dalam suatu babak kompetisi tenaga penjualan. Data berasal dari video babak final. Analisis yang dilakukan berhasil menunjukkan bagaimana peserta yang berperan sebagai penjual dan pembeli mewujudkan kegiatan pertemuan di bidang penjualan secara B2B melalui tiap tuturan yang berurutan.
