Pendidikan Multikultural berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk menumbuhkan Karakter Toleransi

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis internalisasi pendidikan multikultural serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya berbasis kearifan lokal. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus digunakan, melibatkan guru, kepala sekolah, dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dan dianalisis dengan teknik triangulasi. Temuan pertama, internalisasi pendidikan multikultural dilakukan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler berbasis kearifan lokal. Kedua, melalui budaya sekolah seperti kegiatan Iman dan Taqwa (IMTAQ) inklusif dan program sabtu budaya. Faktor pendukung: komitmen kepala sekolah, pemahaman multikultural guru, kerja sama sekolah dengan lintas organisasi eksternal. Faktor penghambat: program pelatihan guru belum maksimal, minimnya sumber belajar (teks book) yang menginterasikan kearifan lokal secara kontekstual, serta kesenjangan sarana prasarana antar sekolah. Implikasi teoretis memperkuat konsep pendidikan multikultural berbasis kearifan lokal agar siswa siap menjadi global citizenship yang berkakter, sedangkan secara praktis, pembelajaran perlu dirancang secara integratif dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal untuk mewujudkan karakter toleransi.
