Hoaks sebagai Distorsi Kebenaran : Pembacaan Biblikal Kejadian 3:1 di Era Digital

Artikel ini menafsirkan Kejadian 3:1 sebagai pola awal distorsi kebenaran untuk membaca fenomena hoaks di era digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi biblikal-kontekstual. Data utama berupa Kejadian 2:16–17 dan 3:1–5 dianalisis melalui pendekatan naratif-retoris, kemudian didialogkan dengan kajian misinformasi, agama digital, dan literasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi ular tidak diawali dengan penyangkalan langsung, melainkan melalui pembingkaian ulang firman Allah lewat pertanyaan yang memanipulasi makna, sehingga larangan terhadap satu pohon diperluas seolah-olah berlaku bagi seluruh pohon dalam taman. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa distorsi kebenaran sering bekerja secara halus melalui perubahan konteks dan penekanan makna. Kebaruan artikel ini terletak pada pembacaan Kejadian 3:1 sebagai model awal distorsi kebenaran yang menghubungkan eksegesis Alkitab dengan etika komunikasi dan pedagogi iman di era digital. Implikasinya, gereja dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen perlu mengembangkan literasi kebenaran yang mencakup verifikasi sumber, ketelitian hermeneutik, etika bermedia, serta tanggung jawab komunal dalam menghadapi arus informasi digital. -
