Online Submission Guidelines
1. General Information
All manuscripts submitted to journals published by Actual Insight must be submitted electronically through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) online submission platform.
The online submission system enables authors to submit manuscripts, provide publication metadata, upload supporting documents, communicate with the editorial team, respond to review decisions, and monitor the progress of their submissions.
Authors are required to carefully read the journal's Author Guidelines, Focus and Scope, Publication Ethics, Copyright Notice, and Submission Requirements before initiating a submission.
Manuscripts submitted through email or other communication channels will not be processed unless specifically authorized by the editorial office.

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts comply with the journal's scope, manuscript template, formatting requirements, ethical standards, and citation guidelines before continuing.
4. Online Manuscript Submission Process
The OJS submission workflow guides authors through the preparation, uploading, description, and final submission of their manuscripts.
In newer OJS 3 interfaces, the submission process generally includes the following stages.
Step 1 — Details
In this stage, authors provide the essential bibliographic information about their manuscripts.
Authors should:
- Enter the complete manuscript title exactly as it appears in the submitted document.
- Provide the manuscript subtitle, if applicable.
- Enter the abstract according to the journal's word limit and formatting requirements.
- Add the required keywords or key phrases.
- Complete any additional metadata fields enabled by the journal.
- Verify the accuracy, spelling, capitalization, and consistency of all information.
Where multilingual metadata fields are available or required, authors should provide the corresponding titles, abstracts, and keywords in the appropriate languages.
All manuscript metadata must accurately correspond to the submitted document.
Step 2 — Upload Files
Authors must upload their manuscript and any additional documents required by the journal.
Main Manuscript File- Select Upload Files.
- Click Add File, Upload File, or the equivalent upload option.
- Select the manuscript file from the computer.
- Upload the manuscript in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx), unless another format is expressly permitted.
- Identify the appropriate file component, such as Article Text or Manuscript, where prompted.
- Verify that the correct document has been uploaded.
Authors may also be required to upload supporting documents, including:
- Cover letter.
- Statement of originality.
- Copyright or publication agreement.
- Ethical approval documentation, where applicable.
- Research instruments or supplementary datasets.
- Separate figures, tables, or other supporting materials.
Additional documents must be uploaded under the appropriate file component or category.
Authors should not upload unnecessary files or confidential documents unless requested by the journal.
Where anonymous peer review is required, the manuscript must be prepared according to the journal's anonymization instructions.
After confirming that all required files have been uploaded correctly, proceed to the next stage.
Step 3 — Contributors
This stage requires authors to provide complete and accurate information about all individuals who qualify for authorship.
Authors must:
- Verify the information of the submitting author.
- Add all co-authors using Add Contributor or the corresponding function.
- Enter each author's full name and valid email address.
- Provide institutional affiliations, including institution and country.
- Include ORCID identifiers where available or required.
- Arrange the authors in the correct order.
- Identify the corresponding author or primary contact.
- Save and verify all contributor information.
The order of authors entered into OJS must correspond to the author order agreed upon by all contributors and presented in the manuscript.
All listed authors must have approved the submitted version of the manuscript.
Changes to authorship after submission may require editorial approval and appropriate justification.
Step 4 — For the Editors
In this stage, authors may provide additional information intended for the editorial team.
Depending on the journal's configuration, authors may be asked to:
- Provide comments or additional explanations for the editor.
- Submit a cover letter or relevant editorial declarations.
- Disclose potential conflicts of interest.
- Provide information concerning funding, research ethics, or related publications.
- Explain any special circumstances relevant to the manuscript.
Comments for the Editor should be concise, professional, and directly related to the submitted manuscript.
Authors may briefly explain the significance, originality, and relevance of the research to the journal's focus and scope.
This section should not be used to repeat the entire abstract or manuscript content.
Where no additional information is required, authors may proceed to the next stage after completing all mandatory fields.
Step 5 — Review and Final Submission
Before completing the submission, authors must carefully review all information entered into the OJS platform.
Authors should verify:
- The manuscript title, abstract, and keywords are complete and accurate.
- All authors and institutional affiliations are correctly listed.
- The corresponding author has been properly identified.
- The correct manuscript and supporting files have been uploaded.
- All mandatory metadata fields have been completed.
- The submission requirements and applicable declarations have been satisfied.
- The manuscript complies with the journal's ethical and formatting policies.
If any information is incomplete or incorrect, authors should return to the relevant section and make the necessary corrections.
Once all information has been verified, click Submit, Finish Submission, or the equivalent final submission button displayed by the OJS platform.
Confirm the submission when prompted by the system.
5. Submission Confirmation
After successfully completing the submission process, authors will receive an on-screen confirmation indicating that the manuscript has been submitted.
The OJS platform may also send an automated confirmation email to the registered email address, depending on the journal's notification settings.
Authors are encouraged to retain the submission confirmation and manuscript identification number for future reference.
The corresponding author should regularly monitor the OJS Dashboard and registered email account for editorial notifications.
6. Tracking Manuscript Status
Authors can monitor the progress of their manuscripts through the OJS Dashboard.
To check submission status:
- Log in to the journal's OJS platform.
- Open the Dashboard or Submissions page.
- Locate the submitted manuscript.

Accepted manuscripts undergo editorial preparation to improve language, consistency, formatting, and publication readiness.
The manuscript is prepared for publication, including layout preparation, proofreading, and final publication arrangements.
The availability and duration of each stage depend on editorial decisions and the journal's workflow configuration.

- Open the relevant manuscript submission.
- Access the applicable review or revision section.

- Request clarification concerning editorial decisions.

Technical inquiries should include a clear description of the problem and, where applicable, the manuscript identification number and relevant screenshots.
