Kerangka Hukum Pendidikan Multikultural Melalui Culinary Diversity Ethics: Strategi Kebijakan untuk Promosi Pendidikan Tinggi

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya lingkungan akademik yang inklusif di tengah keberagaman budaya Kota Malang. Meskipun UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sisdiknas dan UU No. 40 Tahun 2008 tentang Penghapusan Diskriminasi Ras dan Etnis secara tegas menjamin hak pendidikan tanpa diskriminasi, praktik eksklusivisme budaya masih menjadi tantangan dalam promosi pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan kerangka hukum pendidikan multikultural berbasis Culinary Diversity Ethics sebagai strategi inovatif untuk menarik minat pelajar Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 15 informan yaitu praktisi pendidikan, sosiolog, dan perwakilan pelajar Sekolah Menengah Atas. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi etika keberagaman kuliner sebagai media pembelajaran mampu mencairkan sekat primordialisme dan meningkatkan daya tarik institusi pendidikan tinggi secara persuasif. Kebaruan penelitian ada pada penggunaan diplomasi kuliner (gastrosophy) dalam bingkai yuridis-pedagogis untuk mempromosikan nilai multikulturalisme. Perguruan tinggi perlu mengadopsi model ini dalam kurikulum pengenalan kampus untuk mewujudkan ekosistem pendidikan demokratis dan non-diskriminatif.
